Wearing your Mom's pants !

Well, this post is actually inspired by a pair of pants that I have inherited from my Mom. The loose-till- calf- length- tapering-below beige pants that my Mom worn to her college have happily found a place in my wardrobe. A S/S 10 trend, these pants, commonly known as Carrot Pants are pretty much in vogue. Team them up with a fitted vest, an accentuated shoulder jacket and a smart messenger.... and you are all set !!!

Sorry for being lost all this while.... Was stuck with some usual monotonies of life :)

But here I am, back with my favourite collection from the very recent Van Heusen India Mens Week 2010. It had to be the sauve Mumbai designer Troy Costa. A resortwear collection in its true sense, Troy's ensembles are smart and define practical fashion for the not-so-experimental-with-clothes men. Since I am particularly not fond of menswear bordering on the fence with womenswear, I much prefer Troy's stylish blend of smart cuts and bright colours to few other bizarre attempts at playing up menswear with frilly silhouettes.....
